OK, I admit it! This is a purely subjective set of brief biographies (I don't intend to produce a cv of the complete performances of their careers) of my favourite thesps! It will gradually build into a 'who's who' of British Theatreland! I will build this gradually, adding personal favourites, plus any requests or submitted bios.

British Film and TV actors will be included if they are also stage performers, if they hav a current stage play, or if they have had a substantial theatrical prescence before turning to other media - otherwise try the Bios page of our sister site:
